MotoSix MiniMoto Academy Courses

MotoSix courses are designed specifically help riders target and refine their fundamental skill set that will lead to faster lap times.

The courses below will benefit racers of all skill levels and will make you a more controlled, more confident, and faster motorcycle roadracer.

6 Hour Course: 2 hours classroom, 4 hours riding

Do you want to learn how to start in this exciting sport in a safe and controlled manner?

Are you a street rider wanting to take your skills to the next level?

This course is for you!

In this first course, we will lay down the foundation of your fundamental skill set. MotoSix instructors will spend two hours reviewing everything from safety gear to proper line selection, then we will then spend the next four hours riding on the track doing a variety of drills.

Groups of two to three students are matched according to track experience, then this course is tailored to the skills of those specific students. Using this method, this course will be just as suitable for a trackday novice as it is for a trackday veteran.

  • Roadrace Riding Techniques

    • Braking & Clutch Techniques - You don't need a slipper clutch to be smooth!
    • Corner Entry - When, Where, and how fast?
    • Apex - Where is that apex?
    • Corner Exit - Look there, Go there!
    • Holding a Line - How is this done?
    • Pushing Past Limits - Will it stick?
    • Common Mistakes - We all do them!
    • Riding Drills - Too many to list!

2 Hour Classroom-Only Course

Bike Prep - What are the basics that need to be done to race with the MRA?

Is $25/gallon race fuel worth it? Want to see the dyno graphs that show it may not be everything it is advertised to be?

Do you want to get the tips that have won multiple MRA class championships on bike setup and tire management?

This course is for you!

Everyone is trying to sell you something that might or might not make you faster on the track. From expensive race fuel to expensive tires to expensive engine modifications - you will eventually see it all.

If you are just starting out in this sport, it may be difficult to separate the fact from the fiction, but we will help you do just that with techniques to help you make good buying decisions when purchasing or prepping your race bike. We have tried it all, and some of it is worth it and some of it is not!

6 Hour Course: 2 hours classroom, 4 hours riding

Are you a seasoned Motocross or Supermoto racer?

Do you want to translate your skills into fast lap times on the asphalt?

This course is for you!

This course is designed to help riders who are comfortable with advanced dirt bike riding techniques smoothly make the transition to the pavement. This course assumes you have prior club racing experience in either SuperMoto or Motocross/Supercross.

6 Hour Course: 2 hours classroom, 4 hours riding

Ready for the advanced topics that helped win MRA class championships and the MRA #1 Plate?

Looking for that edge to make your first race win a reality?

This course is for you!

This course is for racers looking to take their riding to the next level. The feel and balance required from our MiniMoto roadracers is the same as your big bike, and we will work one on one with you to give you the tools that have won us races and championships over the years.

4 Hour Course: 4 hours riding

After you take courses 101 or 301, this is where you can refine your new skills.

Are you looking for a way to train but without the investment of race prepping a trainer motorcycle?

This course is for you!

Topic Overview:
  • No Formal Class - We go ride for 4 hours and work on your fundamental techniques and have fun!

Course Fee: $175

2 hours riding

Want to spend two hours after work to refine your skills on the MiniMoto roadracers?

All course graduates and current licensed MRA racers are welcome to sign up for a two hour rental on one of the MotoSix MiniMoto CR125s. We have found no better training tool then these little bikes, and like we always say "one bike makes a ride, two bikes makes a race!".

So signup and come play for a few hours on the asphalt!

Rental Fee: $125

Track fees additional for MiniMoto rentals, and are currently $35 per day per rider.
